Armand Yapachino

Obituary Armand Yapachino, age 85, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2010. He was born in Tacoma and attended Stanley Elementary School and Stadium High School. He worked at Sepics repairing appliances before he was asked to begin a new class at Bates VocTech. He touched many lives in a positive way with all of his activities. He was a champion wrestler, police officer, city mayor, and a highly honored hydroplane driver and owner. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce, daughter Stephanie, son-in-law John and granddaughter Jennifer. His sons Neal and Gary preceded him in death. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 10:30 am at St. Rita's Catholic Church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Please leave online condolences at www.GaffneyCares.com.
