Obituary Antoinette Delores Trenier Burnette In loving memory of Antoinette Delores Trenier Burnette, 91, of Tacoma, WA, passed away on August 3, 2013. She was born in November 1921 in Mobile, Alabama to Dennis and Olivia Trenier. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Woods Burnette. Antoinette is survived by her brother, Milton Trenier; sister, Justina Trenier; daughters, Marcia Hebblethwaite, Terrie Johnson and Bedez Carter; and sons, Harry Burnette and Cliff Burnette. Antoinette was a long time resident of Alaska and Washington. She was passionate about her work with elementary and special needs children for the Kodiak, Alaska and Tacoma Public School districts. She loved a full house. All family and friends knew that they were always welcome in her home and nobody ever left her company hungry. Some words that best described Antoinette are: hospitable, kind-hearted, sweet, strong, loving, nurturing, and feisty, with a great sense of humor. She loved her family more than anything else in the world. Jet-Set Nett was from a family of musicians and entertainers; the World Famous Trenier's. She had a beautiful voice and was a big fan of the NBA. Although she is no longer on this earth, we will always remember her waving goodbye to her visitors at her front door. Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel, Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 1:30pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Interment at New Tacoma Cemetery. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com.
