Obituary Anthony James Shirk September 12, 1971 - October 24, 2005 Devoted son, brother, uncle and trusted friend , Anthony touched our lives in so very many ways. With his kind heart and gentle ways, his compassion for strangers and friends alike will be forever remembered and sorely missed. Love always from your family and friends . Anthony is survived by his parents: Cheryl and Mark Shirk; brothers: Phoenix and Pierce Shirk; sister Chance Shirk; nieces and nephews: Dondre, Santana, Cheyenne and Isabella; uncles: Robert, Arlen and Jeff Goss, all of the Tacoma area; aunts: Susan (Glenn) McCuan of TX, Brenda (Matthew) Palmer, Tracy (Jim) Holly of the Tacoma area, Sandra (Norm) Bergeron of NH; as well as his two loyal friends, miniature collies: Oliver and Max. Viewing will be Wednesday and Thursday, October 26 and 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Gaffney Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited 9:30 a.m., Friday, October 28, 2005 with the Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am, Friday, October 28, 2005, both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
