Obituary Anne Jurancich Dupas Anne Jurancich Dupas was born on October 7, 1921 in Tacoma, WA and died peacefully on February 11, 2015 in Everett, WA surrounded by family. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Dupas O'Neal; brother, Joseph Marvin (Ruth) Jurancich; grandson, Bryan (Colleen) O'Neal; granddaughter, Anne Marie (Matt) Hedeen; four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Landon and Kellen; two step great-grandchildren, Bradley and Carlin. Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Andy; her parents, Joseph Jurancich and Anna Klarich Jurancich; as well as two sisters, Mary Frances Skinner and Rose Mabel Sinopoli. Anne graduated from Stadium High School in 1939. She later met Andy, her husband, at a USO dance at Fort Lewis, WA and they were married on December 23, 1943. The two lived in Tacoma for 62 years and in 2006 moved to Everett to be near family. Anne had a stellar 33 year career in the hospitality industry. She was auditor of the Winthrop Hotel in Tacoma, and the comptroller of the Seattle Hyatt House from where she retired in 1979. Anne was devoted to her husband, Andy, whom she adored and her entire family. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church for 62 years, where she served on several committees, counted collection money after Sunday Masses, and helped in the church office. She loved bowling, dancing, traveling and cruises. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an amazing and dear lady. She will be deeply missed. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Tacoma. Entombment at Calvary Cloisters.
