Ann Dorothy Sumich

Obituary ANN (VELACICH) SUMICH Ann Sumich was born in Great Falls, Montana on September 18, 1914. She passed away on May 2, 2008 with her family by her side. Ann was 93 years of age. She moved here with her family when she was six years old. Ann graduated from Stadium High School in 1932. She married John Sumich in 1940 and together they raised their three children. She retired from Les Davis Fishing Tackle. Ann spent her retirement baking chocolate chip cookies for her family and tending to her roses. She was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Church and a past member of the Slavonian Benevolant Society. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Mary Johnson and Margaret Jacobson, her brother John Velacich, her husband John F. Sumich and her son Fred Sumich. She is survived by her brother William (Florence) Velacich; her son John E. Sumich; her daughter Nancy (Jerry) Brodigan; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Church. Rosary will be recited prior to mass at 10:30 AM also at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
