Obituary Aniello "Nello" Iovino Aniello "Nello" Iovino, 82, passed away peacefully from a brief illness on Thursday, December 24, 2015. Aniello worked at, and retired from the Port of Tacoma in 1995 after 29 years of service working as a train engineer, track crew, and beautification worker. Aniello was born December 14, 1933 in Somma Vesuviana near Naples, Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1966. He is preceded in death by his first wife Flora; his brothers Antonio Iovino and Vincenzo Iovino; and his sister, Rosa Iovino. Aniello is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years Giovanna; his sons Frank (Mary) Iovino and Mario (Jeanie) Iovino; and his grandchildren Chiara, Kieran, Mario Jr., Anna Rosa, and Gianna; and numerous nieces and nephews in the United States and Italy. He will be remembered as a kind and generous individual who always put other people first. Some of Aniello's greatest pleasures were gardening, making wine, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at All Saints Catholic Church (204 W 6th Ave SW, Puyallup, WA) at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Viewing will also be at All Saints Catholic Church at 6:00pm with Vigil followed by a Rosary on Tuesday, December 29, at 7:00pm. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Seattle Children's Cancer Center. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at All Saints Catholic Church at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Viewing will also be at All Saints Catholic Church at 6:00pm with Vigil followed by a Rosary on Tuesday, December 29, at 7:00pm.
