Angel D. Marzano

Obituary Angel D. Marzano Angel D. Marzano passed away peacefully on November 12th, 2012. Born on May 22nd, 1925 in Stephen, Minn., to Thomas and Mary Frederick. One of 13 children, she was preceded in death by brothers William, Lawrence, John, David and Stewart; sisters Ethel, Pearl, Myrtle, Florence, Lillian and June. She married our dad, Frank Marzano on May 31st, 1947 and enjoyed 47 years together until his passing in 1994. She leaves behind her sister Irene, children Dick (Candi), John (Liz), Therese (Jack) and Pete, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She made friends wherever she went and during her working days, truly enjoyed the people she met. She devoted a lot of time and energy to the AMVETS Post #5 Aux. holding several different offices, including President. She always made everyone welcome in her home and no one ever left without something to eat. She was famous for her pizza and enjoyed nothing more than when the entire family was together. Our sincere gratitude to the hardworking staff at Manor Care on Orchard St. for their dedication and true friendship. Mom met a lot of wonderful people there and made many, many friends. May God bless all of you. Mom, you'll be missed by many. You really were an ANGEL. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 16th, 2012, 10:30 am at Rita Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Thursday, November 15th, 2012 at 6:30 pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com.
