Alton Mertz

September 22, 1921 — June 4, 2017

Obituary World War II vet died June 4th of cancer. A long term employee of Safeway Grocery Stores he retired at the age of 74. Devoted to God, Country and Family, he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his daughter Patti Sargent, Tacoma; granddaughter Terilyn Wyre; great-grandsons Evan Sargent and River Wyre, all of Seattle.
