Obituary Albert J. LaChapelle 4/14/41 ?" 07/13/07 Al was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and dedicated servant of the Federal Government. He was unyielding in his support for the working class as a Union President and was devoted to equality and justice in the work place. Al is survived by his beloved wife and soul mate Carol, his mother Margaret, children; A.J., Brent, Doug, Debra, Cory, Duke, Kelly and 17 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons Chris, Jeffrey and Kurt. Al will be sorely missed and his memory greatly celebrated. He's driving that "highway to heaven".
