Obituary Akinobu (Aki) Yotsuuye Passed away June 19, 2015 surrounded by his family. Born in Japan Dec. 25, 1923, Aki came to America as an infant with his family and worked on the family vegetable farm, Brookville Gardens, in Fife, WA. The family was interned at Minidoka during World War II, but they were fortunate to have a neighbor that looked after the farm during that time and was able to return to farming afterwards. In his younger years he enjoyed bowling, Matsutake hunting and raising his Asian pear trees. He became a Muckleshoot regular in retirement. The most joy in his life was photography, a camera always ready. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Ashley (Alec Boehmer); and grandsons, Brandon, Conor and Tiarnan Marsten; and his many family members. Please join his family on Sunday, June 28, 2015, 1:00 pm at Tacoma Buddhist Temple, 1717 S Fawcett Ave, Tacoma, WA. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity in Aki's memory.
