Obituary Agnes Reding Agnes Reding, 81, of Tacoma, died October 9, 2009. Agnes, the youngest of twelve children, was born on November 27, 1927, to James and Sara McElroy in County Tyrone, Ireland. She immigrated to the United States in 1949. Agnes married Jack Reding in 1952. Agnes was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America. She was very active in her church and served as a Eucharistic minister for many years. Agnes was known for her outgoing personality and generous hospitality. Her faith and family were of paramount importance in her life. She spent much of her spare time attending games and activities of her children and grandchildren. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Jack, her parents, and eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Patricia Petrino, Onalaska, WA; James (Tracey) Reding, Auburn, WA; Kevin (Debbie) Reding, Roy, WA; John (Jill) Reding, Puyallup, WA; Gerald (Heidi) Reding, Puyallup, WA. she is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, Valerie, Michael, Lisa, Sarah, Thomas, Matthew, Andrew, Suzanne, Joseph, Aaron, Joshua, Ashley, Karie, Courtney, and Jack, three great-grandchildren, Savannah, Colby, and Kadence, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 16, 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, followed by entombment at Calvary Cloisters. Rosary will be recited Thursday, October 15, 7 p.m. at Gaffney Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church or to Bellarmine Prep.
