Adelhaide Barbara Rankin

Obituary Ida Rankin Ida Barbara Rankin passed away on August 24, 2013 at the age of 98 in Tacoma, WA. She was born and raised in Hingham, MT to Frank Kraft and Elizabeth Jund. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence; her parents; and seven of her brothers and sisters, Roy, Amelia, Tillie, Andrew, Julia, Frank and Leo. Ida is survived by her children, Jeanne Rankin, and Dan (Myrt) Rankin; and her grandchildren, Liz Rankin and Theresa (David) Byrd. Mother taught school in Montana for a few years before moving to Tacoma, working various positions and Rhodes Brothers Department Store. From there, she went to work for American Amusement where she met her husband Clarence and started her job of being a wife and mother. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 2-6pm at Gaffney Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 11:00am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church followed by Funeral Mass at 11:30am. Entombment at Calvary Cloisters.
